Lipsey Mountain Spring Band.
We went out in the forest this morning and recorded this cover of the wonderful song "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song" by Fleet Foxes, our favourite band right now. We saw them live this weekend in Sweden and it was absolutely amazing. If you get a chance to see them live don't hesitate for a second!

I started drinking Lipsey Mountain Spring Water back in high school after my parents signed up for their service. Now nearly 25 years and a wife + three kids later – my family is drinking the very same water. Thank you to Lipsey for two generations of wonderful service and water! birdeye.

Cowboy Mountain located in Stevens Pass is most famous for being a skier's mountain in Stevens Pass, Washington. But this mountain has so many other properties as well and in a good mountain for a ski mountaineering trip, ice axe training trip or even as a good simple snow climb. During the winter this mountain is open to skiers at the Stevens Pass ski resort. But once the ski resort closes it then becomes fair game for backcountry ski, snow climbs and even no trace camping. Heading up Cowboy Mountain.
A major piece of Blue Mountain was inspired by a period in 1962, when an idealistic 15-year-old Bob Weir decided to run off to Wyoming to become a cowboy. Weir found work on a ranch as a farmhand and as the young newcomer was tasked with grunt work. Yet, the cowboys treated him well and he was introduced to a form of music that years later would be called Americana. The pair and their backing band of Scott Devendorf, Aaron Dessner and Bryan Devendorf will create each setlist from a mix of the 18 tunes composed for Blue Mountain and Grateful Dead classics. When asked whether Bob would perform solo for a section of each show, Kaufman and Weir indicated that had yet to be worked out but was certainly possible.
Mountain Spring Music was born from the collaboration of two great friends across the ocean. Seth is a songwriter who clearly takes his cues from Dylan and his words sound like a modern version of something ancient. Developing a way to pass tracks in the cloud around the world and build songs virtually. Between 2016-2017 they picked some of these collaborators to put together a rock set and took it on the road. The audiences loved the chemistry, the humor, the depth of lyrics and connection of the band with each other and the intimacy with the audience. This process transformed the direction of the band and MSM set out to capture this sound on their debut album.
