Maintaining my hair in good condition was and still is. I don't know when I actually reached tailbone, maybe at the 7 year mark. I am currently 7 and half years natural. I have heard it mentioned before that hair may grow for 7 years before it reaches it's end point. My hair just continues to grow longer. Even though I have cut it several inches every year.
