Embarrassment To The Blues? Лицензиар.

This Ruf release documents a 2001 gig at a club in Germany, where Garner provides an inspired dose of electric Louisiana blues and often detours into Louisiana soul. Garner isn't a blues purist; not everything he does has 12 bars, and he is a perfect example of a bluesman who isn't afraid to explore other areas. While Jimmy Witherspoon was a bluesman with jazz leanings and Stevie Ray Vaughan was a bluesman with a strong love of rock, Garner often shows his appreciation of classic '60s and '70s soul.

Larry Garner (born July 8, 1952, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States) is a Louisiana blues musician best known for his 1994 album Too Blues. Garner grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His first inspiration was the guitar-playing preacher Reverend Utah Smith. Garner made acquaintance with local musicians such as Lonesome Sundown, Silas Hogan, Guitar Kelley and Tabby Thomas. His musical influences include Hogan, Clarence Edwards, Jimi Hendrix, and Henry Gray.
