Santana is the debut studio album by American Latin rock band Santana. It was released on August 30, 1969. Over half of the album's length is composed of instrumental music, recorded by what was originally a purely free-form jam band.

13 Grandes Exitos De Carlos Santana. Live at Fillmore 1968. Gold - The Classics: Santana. With a Little Help from My Friends. The Swing Of Delight. The Beginning: Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Jimmy Page. Masterpieces, Vol. 1. сборник.

The repackaging of bootleg Santana material seems endless. Imprints crop up from the ether to issue some of the dodgiest excesses from before and during the recording of the band's first through third albums and then disappear. They slap together some early and middle period loose jamming and push out a two-CD set. This one is no different. In other words, you get what you pay for and should avoid this one entirely.

The discography of the rock band Santana formed by the Mexican-American rock guitarist Carlos Santana consists of 25 studio albums, seven live albums, 61 singles and 23 compilation albums. Santana formed in 1967 in San Francisco and was originally known as the Carlos Santana Blues Band. The first members were Carlos Santana (lead guitar), Tom Fraser (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Mike Carabello (percussion), Rod Harper (drums), David Brown (bass guitar) and Gregg Rolie (organ).

Santana is the third studio album by Santana. The band's second self-titled album, it is often referred to as III to distinguish it from the band's 1969 debut album. The album was also known as Man with an Outstretched Hand. It was the third and last album by the Woodstock-era lineup, and it was also considered by many to be the band's peak commercially and musically, as subsequent releases aimed towards more experimental jazz and Latin music. Santana III was also the last Santana album to hit on the charts until Supernatural in 1999. According to Guinness Book of World Records 2005, this is the longest delay between albums ever occurring. The original album was re-released in 1998 with live versions of "Batuka", "Jungle Strut" and a previously unreleased song, "Gumbo", recorded at Fillmore West in 1971 which features lead guitar solos by both Santana and Schon.
